SHELBY DOSHI
The Cat Whisperer Singapore ®

I am a Cat Behavioural Consultant with over a decade of experience working with cats. I offer cat sitting, behavioral consultations, basic grooming services, vet transport & vet accompaniment services (Cat Guardian).

I am a community cat caregiver, rescuer, rehomer & animal welfare advocate.

I grew up with dogs & was fearful of cats until I found our eldest cat, Lucky, in 2007 (RIP 2022), abandoned in a paper bag, when he was 1 month old.

In 2010, I left my banking job to start Lucky’s Pet Haven, an online pet store & grooming service.

In 2013, my services expanded to cat sitting, rescue & rehoming, after I had to board my beloved community cat, Tigerella (RIP 2017), at a cattery, in desperation to save her from being relocated & culled.

I started growing my client base by offering 1 simple promise – that I will take care of your cat(s) as if he/she was my own.

I have gained vast experience in handling cats, cat behavior, cat medication, grooming & offers advice to clients & new rescuers alike.

In 2021, I branched out to behavioral consultancy after identifying this need amongst my clients.

A strong believer in giving back to society, I served on the Board of Cat Welfare Society from 2017 to 2022. I currently volunteer with Purely Adoptions (Purely Meow).

I have also been serving as a Grassroots Volunteer since 2012.

I have recently completed my first e-book entitled “𝙁𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙁𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙨: 𝘼 𝙁𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙏𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙊𝙬𝙣𝙚𝙧’𝙨 𝙂𝙪𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝘾𝙖𝙩 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙚, as I believe that education is key in improving and enriching the lives of animals.
